Dave McCormick

Dave McCormick is a Senior Principal at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, a position held since 2003, specializing in seismic evaluation and retrofit as well as concrete investigations and repairs. Notably, seismic retrofits undertaken by Dave include both conventional methods and the application of energy dissipation devices. Prior to this role, Dave served as an Associate at ABS Consulting from 1984 to 2002, primarily working on seismic investigations and retrofits for EQE, which was acquired by ABS. Dave holds a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained between 1975 and 1981.
