John McLean

John McLean is a seasoned professional in the nuclear engineering sector with over three decades of experience. Currently serving as Technical Director at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. since January 2021, John McLean consults on nuclear power projects and oversees structural condition assessments. Prior to this role, John McLean was a Senior Project Manager at Sargent & Lundy for 30 years, managing multi-discipline projects related to KEPCO E&C and the Turkey Point Nuclear Plant. John McLean's experience includes leading structural design efforts, managing complex engineering projects, and addressing technical and licensing challenges in nuclear design.
