Joshua Core

Joshua Core, P.E. (CA), is a Senior Consulting Engineer at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) since July 2016, with a progression of roles including Consulting Engineer, Project Consultant, and Associate Project Consultant. Joshua has previous experience as an Undergraduate Researcher in the REU Program at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, focusing on geoenvironmental topics and engineering calculations. An Engineering Intern at Abengoa Solar LLC included responsibilities such as office management and preparing expense reports. Earlier experience includes serving as a Lifeguard for the Muroc Joint Unified School District, with certifications in water safety and first aid. Joshua earned a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
