Ron Hamburger

Ron Hamburger is a Senior Principal and Director at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, where they lead a staff of 40 structural engineers across California. With over 30 years of experience, they are an internationally recognized expert in performance-based structural, earthquake, and blast engineering, notably investigating the collapse of the World Trade Center towers after September 11, 2001. Ron has lectured at prestigious universities, including Stanford and UCLA, and has held leadership positions in various structural engineering organizations. Their educational background includes a BSCE from New York University and an MBA in Construction Project Management from Golden Gate University.
