Sylvia Costa, EIT, is an Associate Project Consultant at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger since July 2024. Previously, Sylvia gained experience as a Civil and Environmental Engineering Office Assistant at Northeastern University and completed various internships and co-op positions, including roles as a Technical Intern in Structural New Design and as a Structural Engineer Co-Op at Collins Engineers, Inc. Notably, Sylvia has hands-on experience in structural calculations, design drafting, and field inspections through assignments with MassDOT and BSC Group. Sylvia holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
