Christopher Smith possesses extensive experience in international arbitration and cross-border disputes, currently serving as Counsel and Head of the International Arbitration and Cross-Border Disputes Practice at Smith Gambrell Russell. Previous roles include Senior Associate and Associate at King & Spalding, where significant achievements involved securing a $100 million award for a client in a SIAC arbitration and negotiating favorable settlements. Additional experience includes internships at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and GÖRG Rechtsanwälte, as well as a position as a Foreign Associate at Schellenberg Wittmer Ltd, where involvement in various arbitration matters took place. Christopher's academic background includes a B.A., magna cum laude, from Furman University and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law.
