Raphael Spreitzer

Raphael Spreitzer has extensive work experience in the field of security and technology. Raphael is currently working as a Group Manager at SGS Brightsight, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Principal Security Expert, Digital Trust Services at SGS from 2019. Raphael also worked as a Guest Lecturer at Technische Universität Graz from 2020 to 2022. Raphael's earlier experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Technische Universität Graz from 2012 to 2018, where they focused on research related to software-based side-channel attacks and privacy-preserving technologies. Raphael has published more than 20 scientific papers and given numerous conference talks. Raphael also worked as a Software Developer at Softwaresysteme GTLDATA GmbH in 2007.

Raphael Spreitzer obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Development and Business Management from Technische Universität Graz in 2011. Raphael then pursued a Master of Science degree in Software Development and Business Management at the same institution from 2011 to 2012. Subsequently, they completed their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Graz in 2017.
