Ryan Monteith

Ryan Monteith is a Senior Metallurgist at SGS since December 2018, where responsibilities include the preparation and management of testwork and pilot plant programs, client interactions, technical report preparation, and coordination of testwork tasks. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Metallurgist at Coeur Mining, Inc., and Metallurgist at JDS Silver Inc., both in Northern British Columbia, providing metallurgical support for silver, lead, and zinc mining operations. Earlier roles at SGS as Mineral Processing Supervisor involved managing lab and pilot plant operations, while positions at INVISTA and The University of Western Ontario focused on technical support for textile production and the design and operation of pilot plants, respectively. Ryan holds a degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering from Western University, completed from 2002 to 2007.
