Stephen Slade

Stephen Slade is a cataract and refractive surgeon at Slade & Baker Vision in Houston, Texas. They attended Tulane University and the University of Texas, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. They completed their medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School, followed by a residency at the LSU Eye Center and fellowships in corneal surgery at Baylor and Project ORBIS. Dr. Slade performed the first LASIK procedure in the U.S. and is known for their extensive experience with Femtosecond Laser LASIK, having been selected by peers for inclusion in "Texas Super Doctors" and "Best Doctors in America." Over 450 fellow eye surgeons have chosen Dr. Slade for their own eye surgeries, highlighting their reputation as a “surgeon’s surgeon.”
