Xi Chen, Ph.D., is currently the Director of Operations - Food at SGS, a position they have held since 2018. Prior to this, they served as a Microbiology Laboratory Manager at Michelson Laboratories from 2017 to 2018. Xi completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Food Science and Technology at The University of Georgia, following a Master of Science in Poultry Science from Auburn University, where they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant. They earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Food Science and Technology from Sichuan University.
