Marcus Lathrop

Marcus Lathrop has a strong background in supply chain management and logistics. Marcus is currently the Vice President of Software Integration at S&H Systems. Previously, they held the role of Director of Supply Chain Engineering & Systems at JCPenney from 2017 to 2021. In this position, they led national supply chain teams, managed capital expenditures, and governed automation systems within distribution spaces.

Before their time at JCPenney, Lathrop worked as the Director of Logistics Engineering at Rent-A-Center from 2014 to 2017. Marcus was responsible for large corporate projects, WMS implementation, and deployment in various sites and countries.

Prior to Rent-A-Center, Lathrop served in various roles at DISH Network/Blockbuster. From 2012 to 2014, they were the GM of eCommerce Distribution/Logistics, managing multiple distribution centers and maintaining high customer delivery service levels. Marcus also worked as the General Manager of Global Transportation/Logistics from 2007 to 2012. In this role, they managed a cross-channel transportation network and handled large freight volumes.

Lathrop's earlier experience includes roles at Blockbuster and Montgomery Wards. At Blockbuster, they were the General Manager of Operations Management and Business Process Manager - Information Technology. Marcus managed various aspects of operations and led the migration to a client server application. Before Blockbuster, Lathrop worked as a Facility Manager at Montgomery Wards, where they were responsible for operational activity and home delivery management.

Marcus Lathrop attended Citrus College from 1990 to 1991, focusing on the field of study in Psychology. Following this, they then went on to study Psychology at Fullerton College from 1991 to 1992.
