SHA has been producing advertising, design, brand strategy and video production for businesses across the North East and beyond for over two decades. In that time we’ve learned one thing above all others: the work that moves people is never an accident. It comes from thinking harder than everyone else before anyone picks up a pen.

We call that process Brainwave. It’s not a buzzword. It’s a discipline — a way of digging beneath the obvious brief to find the emotional truth that makes a campaign land, a brand stick, or a message travel further than anyone expected.

It’s why York Racecourse have trusted us for more than seven years. Why Sintons — one of the North East’s most respected law firms — came to us when they needed a brand fit for national ambition. Why the University of Cumbria keep coming back. Why NIHR chose us to help communicate some of the most important health research in the country.

We don’t do wallpaper. We don’t do safe. We do work that earns its place in people’s lives — work that makes a business genuinely more successful, not just better looking.

If you’re a Marketing Director or a Managing Director who has ever sat across the table from an agency and thought “they don’t really understand our business” — we understand that frustration. We built SHA specifically to fix it.

We work in advertising, brand strategy, graphic design, message playbooks, video production, copywriting and campaign planning. We work with ambitious businesses, professional services firms, public sector organisations and anyone who believes that intelligent communication is a commercial advantage — not a cost.

If that sounds like the agency you’ve been looking for, let’s have a conversation.
