Max Thorpe

Max Thorpe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Max is currently working as the Head of Development at Shackleton since May 2022. Prior to this, they founded and served as the Managing Director of Rogue Wave Scenarios Ltd starting from December 2020. From January 2019 to January 2020, Max worked as an Ocean Racing Skipper at Resilient:X. Max also has experience working at Freshminds as an Associate from January 2019 to December 2019 and as an Analyst from March 2018 to December 2018. Additionally, Max worked as an Ocean Racing Skipper at Team Tenzing from August 2015 to January 2018. Max also has experience as an Interim Analyst at Freshminds, where they undertook strategic project work for companies such as Bain & Company, McKinsey & Co., and Bulb Energy from August 2016 to November 2017. Max started their career as a Securities Intern at Kempen & Co from April 2017 to September 2017. Overall, Max Thorpe brings a diverse range of skills and experiences to their current role as Head of Development at Shackleton.

Max Thorpe attended Sevenoaks School from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained their International Baccalaureate Diploma. After graduating from Sevenoaks School, they enrolled at the University of Nottingham from 2013 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics.
