Teerath Grewal

Teerath Grewal has a diverse range of work experience in the education field. Teerath is currently the Founder of Everest Scholars, a role they began in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Content Developer for Seesaw Learning starting in June 2021. From July 2021 to June 2022, Teerath served as a 6th Grade Teacher at River Island STEAM Academy.

Before transitioning to these roles, Teerath worked as a 4th Grade Teacher at Berkshire Elementary School from August 2020 to December 2021. Teerath also gained extensive experience as a 6th Grade Teacher at Loudon Roy W Elementary School from August 2016 to August 2020. During this time, they received various trainings and professional developments, facilitated intervention instruction, and worked on closing achievement gaps for struggling readers.

Teerath's earlier experience includes working as a K-8 Substitute Teacher in the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District from August 2015 to June 2016, as well as a High School Substitute Teacher in the Kern High School District during the same period. Teerath began their career in education as a Corps Member for Jumpstart from July 2014 to June 2015, where they provided learning opportunities and social emotional support to preschool children from under-resourced communities.

Teerath Grewal earned a Bachelor's degree in Education Sciences and International Studies from UC Irvine. This degree was completed between 2011 and 2015. Later, Teerath pursued further education and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational/Instructional Technology from Liberty University, starting in 2018 and finishing in 2022. In addition to these degrees, Teerath also obtained certification as an ISTE Certified Educator from the ISTE institution in July 2022.
