Xian Wang's work experience includes various roles in software engineering and development. Xian started in 2014 as a Web Developer for UMUNC, where they designed and coded the official website. In 2015, they worked as a Chief Developer for ConnectED China, developing its online registration and management system. In the same year, they joined Duke Innovation Co-Lab as a Technical Consultant and Software Engineer, providing technical consulting to students and developing cloud infrastructures.
In 2016, Xian became the Co-Founder and CTO of CampusWallet LLC, leading a team in the development of loyalty management and analysis platforms for small shops. Xian managed the development of customer-facing applications and distributed service backends.
In 2017, Xian had an internship as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, working on a distributed backend system for tokens. Xian developed on-demand minting of test tokens and performed big data analysis. Xian later joined Microsoft as a Software Engineer in 2018, working until 2022.
Currently, Xian holds the position of a Software Engineer at Seesaw Learning, starting in 2022.
Xian Wang obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Duke University from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, in 2013, Xian Wang attended Harvard University for a summer program, where undergraduate credits were earned. This program focused on General Studies.
