Jay Song

Jay Song is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the technology sector. As the Founder and CEO of Shadow since January 2024, Jay leads an AI assistant that enhances meeting efficiency by automating follow-up tasks. Previously, as the Co-founder and CEO of Tape from July 2021 to December 2023, Jay facilitated an online platform designed to improve productivity without the need for meetings. Jay's investment expertise was showcased during tenure at Samsung Venture Investment, where an array of technology startups were supported, and as an investor for multiple technology companies including Genvid Technologies Inc., Light Field Lab, Inc., and Mathpresso Inc. Jay began a career in engineering at Samsung Electronics, where experience ranged from Software Engineer to Intern, following the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Hanyang University.
