Seth Hauer

Seth Hauer is an experienced professional in the film industry, currently serving as the Manager of Workforce Development & Sustainability at Shadowbox Studios since September 2025. Hauer oversees the Backlot Academy workforce development program, fosters relationships with film commissions, and advances sustainability initiatives within the company. Previous roles include Coordinator positions in Physical Production at Lionsgate and Entertainment One, as well as at FIFTH SEASON, and producing the feature film Breaking Fast. Additional experience includes an Associate Producer role at Netflix on Tales of the City and various positions at HBO, contributing to notable shows such as Looking and Girls. Hauer began a career in the industry as an Executive Assistant at MGM. An alumnus of New York University, Hauer holds a BFA in Film & TV Production with a focus on Producing.
