Lee Shalit

Lee Shalit is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in driving growth for technology start-ups. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Shadowmap since April 2025, Lee is focused on building a portfolio of early-stage tech companies. Previously, as CEO of Overleaf from March 2017 to April 2025, Lee successfully scaled the company from £430k to £22m in revenue, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation among a team of 75 employees. Prior roles include Finance Director at Verno UK Ltd, COO/CFO at HeathWallace, and Finance Director at Edge IPK, demonstrating a strong track record in financial strategy, due diligence, and corporate growth. Lee holds an ACMA CGMA qualification from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Commercial Law from the University of Sussex.
