Michael Forgione

Michael Forgione has a diverse work experience history. Michael started as an IT Intern at Diamond Wire Material Technologies in 2012. In 2013, they worked for Progressive Insurance as an Information Technology professional, a position they held until January 2014. In February of the same year, they worked in IT Helpdesk for Zimmerman Advertising, a position that ended in May of 2014. From June 2014 to April 2017, they worked as a Security Officer/System Administrator for Colorado Hi-Tech Solutions. In 2017, they joined root9B as a Network Defense Operations Team Lead, and later as a SOAR/Cybersecurity Engineer before they left in 2019. Michael then worked for Shadowscape as the Director of Operations from August 2019, and their employment status there remains unknown.

Michael Forgione holds an Associates of Science in Network Administration from DeVry University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Michael then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Technology Management with emphasis on Security from DeVry University from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Michael enrolled in Free Code Camp to attain a Full Stack Development degree in Computer Software Engineering, which they completed a year later. From 2016 to 2018, they attended Regis University, where they earned a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. Michael also holds certifications as a Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services and as a Certified Sonicwall Security Professional from SonicWall Inc.
