Keyan Cassis has held various roles in the software engineering industry since 2016. In that year, they were an Artificial Intelligence Research Intern at Carleton University, where they designed and implemented several different behaviors for a robot vacuum in an AI machine learning simulator written in Java. In 2017, they began working as a Software Developer at Ross Video, where they designed and implemented new features for OverDrive, the industry leading automated production control system. In 2018, they became a Software Developer at IBM, where they investigated and resolved over 30 defects in JSP, JavaScript, Java, and SQL layers of QRadar, an industry leading SIEM platform. In 2020, they worked as a Software Developer Student at BlackBerry QNX, where they cross-compiled Autoware, Auto, an open source project for Autonomous Valet Parking, and additional open source libraries for QNX OS and various CPU architectures. Finally, in 2021, they began working at Cisco as a Software Engineer I and II.
