Parents who have children with kinky curly hair are well aware of the challenges they face when it comes to simple tasks like washing their hair. These difficulties can often lead to stress and frustration. Additionally, many black children struggle with self-esteem issues related to their hair, as there is a prevalent societal belief that straight hair is more desirable than natural hair. From an early age, black girls are exposed to the perception that straight hair is considered beautiful, while natural hair is not. This perception is reinforced during washdays, which can be traumatic experiences for both children and parents. Fortunately, in recent years, there has been a shift towards celebrating natural hair. However, the problem of washday trauma still exists. At ShampooTime, we aim to address this issue by making shampoo time a fun and enjoyable experience for kids, while also ensuring it is easy for parents to manage. We have developed specially designed patented products that cater to the unique needs of children with kinky curly hair. By offering innovative solutions that combine fun and functionality, we strive to improve the overall well-being of both children and parents. Our mission is to empower black children to embrace their natural hair confidently, while also providing parents with the tools they need to simplify their hair care routines. At ShampooTime, we are not only innovating new products in an untapped market, but also revolutionizing the way people approach mundane tasks, transforming them into enjoyable and bonding experiences. Our flagship product is a specially designed patented shampoo mat that seamlessly converts any sink into a comfortable shampoo bowl, making washdays a breeze. You can easily attach a smart device to our entertainment bar, providing the perfect distraction while washing hair. This ensures that children remain calm and entertained, resulting in tear-free, stress-free, and painless hair washes.
