James Greaney has extensive work experience at Shanahan Engineering, starting in 1995 as a Lead Engineer for power plant projects in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. JAMES later became a Global Sales Manager before taking on the role of Regional Manager, where they established the company's operation in Orlando, FL and secured contracts for power projects across the USA. In 2003, Greaney became the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the construction of various projects in the UK and Ireland. JAMES then became the Senior Vice President, responsible for securing a large contract in Africa and negotiating contracts for the Dorad Project. In 2012, Greaney was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director, with a vision of establishing Shanahan Engineering as a leading global EPCM firm in power plant construction and consulting services.
James Greaney earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Civil Engineering from University College Galway in 1991.
