My name is Shane Smith DDS. I’ve spent the majority of my life in Jonesboro, AR with attending Brookland Schools and obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Arkansas State University. I only left Jonesboro to attend dental school at University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN. After receiving my Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2016, I moved back to Jonesboro, AR to start practicing Dentistry. I spent 5 years as an associate dentist providing dental care for several communities in Northeast Arkansas including Jonesboro, Paragould, and Blytheville, AR as well as Kennett, Mo and Memphis, TN. In 2021 after the retirement of John Abernathy DDS, I purchased the equipment and building to start my solo general dentist practice at 2919 Browns Ln, in Jonesboro, AR. Since then, I have cultivated my passion for dentistry with providing high quality dental care and creating meaningful patient relationships. We accomplish this using a close knit group of well trained and experienced team members. Each one of us comes from a unique dental background with a combined 35 plus years of experience in the field of dentistry. Our clinic prides itself in continued investment in modern technology and education to be able to provide valuable treatment to our Jonesboro community. Understanding that patients value trust in their healthcare professionals and fear of the dentist is common, we make it a point to develop a friendly connection with our patients and allow enough time to create a personalized treatment plan. Our dental clinic has been able to provide quality treatment by going above and beyond the standard by introducing Microscope Dentistry, 3D Radiographic Imaging, Intraoral Scanning and Imaging to our treatment protocols. We believe these upgrade as well as other systematic changes has been beneficial to treatment outcome and ultimately patient care. Our dental clinic offers many procedures ranging from routine teeth cleanings, teeth whitening, extractions and root canals, to full mouth rehabilitation.
