Mel Basham

Mel Basham is a seasoned Talent Acquisition Manager at SHAPE Australia since November 2016, specializing in end-to-end recruitment, onboarding top talent, and promoting employer brand initiatives. Previous experience includes roles as a Talent Acquisition Partner and Talent Acquisition Coordinator, where Mel managed induction processes and developed recruitment programs. Prior to SHAPE, Mel served as a Human Resources Assistant at Direct Group Sydney, facilitating key HR projects and managing the recruitment process for over 51 roles. Earlier experiences also include roles as an Assistant Accountant and a Recruitment Intern. Mel holds a Bachelor of Business in Human Resources from the University of Technology Sydney and a High School Certificate from Pymble Ladies' College.
