Steph Mauer is a seasoned design architect with a diverse portfolio, currently serving at SHAPE since June 2023. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Architect at McKinley Studios and BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group, where notable projects included the NASA + ICON Tech CHAPEA Mars Habitat and The Atlantic Magazine Headquarters. Earlier professional engagements involved designer positions at Ennead Architects LLP and Perkins&Will, contributing to significant projects such as the United States Consulate in Nogales and Marine Gateway. Mauer's early career included a Junior Designer role at BSA Architect and work as a Port Inspection Diver with the Royal Canadian Navy.
