Welding Engineer at Shape

Aaron Palmer has a strong background in engineering, with their most recent role as a Welding Engineer at Shape Corp. Aaron joined the company in October 2014. Prior to that, they spent 14 years at Applied Manufacturing Technologies as a Senior Project Leader of Robotics/Robotics Engineer. Before that, they began their career at Dura Automotive in 1996, where they held the position of Quality Engineer, initially as an intern. At Dura Automotive, they had various responsibilities including overseeing production lines, service parts, weld booths, paint line, lab testing, gage calibration, PPAP of production parts, and adherence to QS-9000 requirements. Aaron also spent time as a purchasing agent and managed the transfer of lines and products from a competitor to DURA, as well as the transition of purchased parts from competitor suppliers to Dura's own suppliers.

Aaron Palmer received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Lake Superior State University. Aaron completed their education at the university from 1994 to 1999.
