Manufacturing Engineer at Shape

Braeton Ardell has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing industry. Braeton currently works as a Manufacturing Engineer at Shape Corp., starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they gained valuable experience at Gentex Corporation, where they held various roles. From November 2021 to July 2022, they were a Process Engineer, responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining quality in the manufacturing process. Before that, they worked as a Manufacturing Process Technician from May 2021 to November 2021, adapting new products to the existing manufacturing process. As a Production Group Leader from October 2019 to May 2021, they supervised production support engineers, implemented state-of-the-art technologies, and led continuous improvement initiatives. In their role as a Production Support Engineer from June 2019 to October 2019, they monitored processes and quality, identified and resolved equipment downtime issues.

In addition to their experience at Gentex Corporation, Ardell also worked as a Manufacturing RD&E Co-op at SC Johnson from September 2017 to December 2017 and as a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op at Mercury Marine from January 2017 to August 2017. Braeton started their career as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at OMT-Veyhl from May 2016 to August 2016.

Braeton Ardell completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University from the year 2014 to 2019. Before that, they attended Grand Haven High School from 2010 to 2014 and pursued a field of study in General Studies. In addition to their formal education, Braeton Ardell obtained a certification as a Die Casting Technician from the North American Die Casting Association in July 2017.
