David Guaresimo

David Guaresimo has extensive experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on operations and manufacturing. David is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Shape Corp., a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing. From January 2020, they worked as the Vice President - International Operations - Metal Forming. Before that, they served as the Executive Director - European Operations - Metal Forming from January 2018 to December 2019. From September 2014 to December 2017, they held the position of Director of Operations and Program Management at AAM. David started their career at AAM in 1998 and held multiple roles in engineering and manufacturing until 2006. From 2007 to 2014, they served as the Plant Manager at AAM.

David Guaresimo completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in the years 1994 to 1998. David pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business between 2014 and 2016.
