Dennis Laakso

Dennis Laakso has extensive work experience in engineering, with a focus on product development and design. Dennis is currently employed at Shape Corp. as a Product Development Engineer since May 2023. Prior to this, Dennis worked at Ford Motor Company for almost two decades. Dennis'sroles there included Studio Design Engineer, Advanced Technologies Engineer, Body Architecture Design Engineer, Upper Body Design & Release Engineer, and Engineering Lead for Body - Vehicle launch. Before joining Ford Motor Company, Dennis worked at MSX International as an Upper Body Design Release Engineer from 2001 to 2004. Dennis also served in the US Navy as a Boiler Technician Petty Officer Third Class and Hull Technician Apprentice from 1993 to 1997.

Dennis Laakso attended Michigan Technological University from 1990 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
