Ed Maloney

Ed Maloney has a diverse work experience in the engineering and welding fields. Ed started their career as a Welding Technician at Die Hard Welding in 2006, where they gained experience in various welding techniques and light fabrication. Ed also developed skills in blueprint reading and worked both independently and in teams. In 2011, they joined Ford Motor Company as a Welding Engineer and worked there until 2015. During this time, they focused on welding engineering and honed their expertise in the field. In 2015, they joined Shape Corp. as a Welding Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Global Special Projects Engineer in July 2022. Ed continues to work at Shape Corp. with a focus on special projects.

Ed Maloney earned an Associate's Degree in Welding Technology/Welder from Ferris State University, which they attended from 2008 to 2010. Ed then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Welding Engineering Technology/Technician from 2010 to 2012.
