Ryan DeBoer has extensive work experience in the manufacturing industry. Ryan began their career at Saturn as a Plastics Process Engineer from 2000 to 2003. Ryan then joined General Motors, where they held various roles such as Supervisor, Plastics Process Engineer, Plant Launch Engineer, and Global Lead Engineer - Exterior Plastic Trim. During their time at General Motors, they supervised the transition from Saturn to GM contract and managed a team of over 60 union members. In 2012, Ryan joined Shape Corp. as an Operations Manager and progressed to roles such as Production Manager, Plant Manager for NetShape and Plant Manager for 1900. Ryan was later promoted to Director of Manufacturing, US Director of Operations, and currently serves as Managing Director - Aluminum Division. Ryan's experience includes expertise in metal roll forming, MIG-welding, precision laser cutting, presses, and multiple secondary equipment types. Ryan has extensive experience in automotive manufacturing and has led teams of over 400 members.

Following this, Ryan pursued further education and enrolled in Kettering University from 2006 to 2008, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Manufacturing Operations. Ryan then went on to attend the University of Michigan from 2010 to 2012, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Lean Manufacturing.
