Jatin Sharma has a diverse work experience background. Jatin started their career as an intern at Eicher Tractors, where they worked on new tractor models and assisted in the selection of new parts and vendors. Jatin then moved on to Larsen & Toubro as a Senior Operations Engineer in the Operations Department of a Supercritical Thermal Power Plant, where they successfully improved the efficiency of plant operations and electricity generation. After that, Jatin co-founded a company called Junior Einstein and served as a co-founder for two years. Following this, they co-founded LBD Makers, where they were the technical head and worked on the design and development of desktop-level FDM 3D printers. Jatin also provided product designing services using various technologies like 3D scanning, printing, laser cutting, woodworking, and embedded systems. Currently, Jatin is a co-founder at Shapecrunch, a company that is re-inventing the healthcare ecosystem by utilizing a digital database. They specialize in making custom 3D printed insoles based on three photos of the foot.

Jatin Sharma obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from PEC University of Technology. Jatin studied at the university from 2008 to 2012.
