Bryan O'Rear

Bryan O'Rear has extensive experience in the finance and health and fitness technology industries. From 2009 to 2016, they were the Founder and Managing Principal of AXE Capital Management, LLC. From 2014 to 2016, they were Co-Founder and COO/CFO of Modustri. From 2006 to 2009, they were Managing Director of Derivative Pricing & Risk at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and was responsible for team budgeting, staffing, data systems, partnerships, and performance reporting. From 2001 to 2006, they were Vice President of Commodities and FX Derivatives pricing and risk management at Deutsche Bank, where they were a market-facing representative for the bank across a range of assets and products, as well as a structured product specialist. Bryan is currently Co-Founder and CEO of ShapeLog, a health and fitness technology platform that solves industry problems by applying novel technology to enable unique coaching and recommendation experiences. Bryan is also passionate about continued discovery and works with researchers who utilize ShapeLog's patented solutions to conduct academic research.

Bryan O'Rear attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 1999 to 2001 and studied Business Administration and Management, General. Bryan also studied Finance and Entrepreneurship at the same school. Bryan also holds a Series 7 certification.
