Darwin V. has over two decades of work experience in the fields of finance, accounting, and HR. Darwin currently works as a Controller at Blocknative since 2023. Prior to their current role, they held the position of Controller and Senior Accountant at ShapeShift from 2020 to 2021. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant at SALT, where they focused on financial reporting and accounting operational tasks, particularly in the digital assets and blockchain technology sector. Before that, Darwin worked at CINC Centro de Negocios y Asesoría from 2016 to 2018 as an Accountant and Tax Advisor, providing HR, finance, accounting, and taxation services to companies in Spain and Europe. From 2006 to 2015, they worked at ORANGE Consultores as an Accountant, Tax and HR Advisor, managing and advising over 100 companies. Their responsibilities included bookkeeping, accounting functions, and administration of HR and tax-related matters. Darwin's career began in 2004 at Promotora de Servicios Sociales y Sanitarios, S.L., where they worked as a Human Resource Manager, overseeing recruitment, payroll administration, employee records, and supporting the Accounting Manager with financial analysis and reporting.

Darwin V. completed their Associate's Degree in Labour Relations at Universidad de La Rioja from 2002 to 2005. Darwin then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Labour Science at the same university from 2005 to 2007, specializing in Business Administration and Management. In 2015, Darwin V. attended Universitat de Barcelona and obtained a Master's in Financial and Business Administration, focusing on Accounting and Finance.

Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in International Financial Reporting from ACCA in May 2019 and became a Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP) through the CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium (C4) in October 2019.
