Lee Brownhill

Lee Brownhill's work experience begins in 2005 at Froude Hofmann, where they provided IT support and acquired in-depth knowledge of Office applications. In 2006, they joined Bepco Group as an IT Support Engineer, focusing on SQL Server administration and reporting tasks. In 2017, they transitioned to Rimilia as a SQL Server DBA, later achieving promotion to Senior SQL Server DBA in 2019 with a focus on performance optimization and mentoring junior DBAs. In 2021, BlackLine acquired Rimilia, and Lee assumed the role of Senior Database Engineer, specializing in SQL Server performance tuning, resolving application bottlenecks, and contributing to architecture initiatives. In 2022, they joined Valcon as a Principal SQL Consultant before taking on the role of Lead SQL Specialist at Shaping Cloud in 2023.

Lee Brownhill has a solid education history in the field of computer studies. Lee earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Studies from the University of Wolverhampton, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Higher National Diploma in Computing from the City Of Wolverhampton College, attending from 2002 to 2004. Before their diploma, Lee completed a GNVQ Advanced in Information Communication Technology at the same college from 2000 to 2002.

Additionally, Lee has pursued further certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Notably, they obtained the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft in June 2023 and the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" certification in December 2021. Lee also holds various certifications related to SQL Server and Azure, including "Advanced T-SQL Querying, Programming and Tuning for SQL Server 2012 - 2017" from QA Ltd in October 2019, "Azure SQL Database Administration" from PTR Associates Ltd in October 2018, "Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 Databases" and "SQL Server Core Skills" from NEOS IT Training in January 2014.
