We are a full-service podcast editing and production company serving global clients to improve branding, communications, and marketing through podcasting. We are led by Ted Canova who’s been a trailblazer in podcasting since 2010, when he launched his first podcast series from a guest bedroom. This humble beginning was the foundation for developing his own best practices across all aspects of podcasting and the creation of his own podcast production company, Shaping Culture.

Our healthcare clients include respected organizations such as Kaiser Permanente, Henry Ford Health, Hopkins Medical Group, Aetna Medicare, Genentech, Texas Oncology, and the Global Healthy Living Foundation. Our reach also spans industries including automotive, technology, distribution, and construction, with clients such as Acura, Tyler Technologies, Minerals Technologies, CP Kelco, Parksite, New England Development, and McCarthy Construction.

What distinguishes Ted and his team is his deep-rooted background in journalism, where he has led major-market newsrooms and earned accolades such as multiple Emmy Awards and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award. With a team of award-winning producers, editors, and storytellers, Shaping Culture excels at captivating audiences and delivering impactful narratives.

As the driving force behind the company, Ted oversees daily management, strategy, operations, and client relations. He serves as the Executive Producer for every podcast episode, personally guiding clients through every step of the process. From leading onboarding sessions and facilitating Podcast Strategy Workshops to coaching talent, developing editorial calendars, and ensuring excellence in production, technology, analytics, marketing, and promotion, Ted’s expertise ensures each project achieves its fullest potential.
