Nathan Gold

Nathan Gold serves as the Head of Data Science at Shara since October 2021. Prior to this role, Nathan worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at Nuula and BFS Capital, contributing to developments in machine learning. Nathan's research expertise spans classification and regression problems utilizing algorithms from machine learning and applied mathematics, focusing on techniques like Gaussian processes and deep neural networks. Nathan has a robust academic background, having earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Machine Learning from York University, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics. Earlier research experience includes being a Researcher in Machine Learning and a Research Assistant in Computational Fluid Dynamics at York University.
