Jack Penzer

Jack Penzer has had a varied work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Data Scientist for SHARE Creative and a Data Scientist for the same company, where they were responsible for natural language processing (NLP) in R & Python, wrangling, cleaning, and visualising data with the Tidyverse, function and package creation & development in R, and transformer-based language models e.g. Bert, RoBERTa, etc. In 2020, they worked as an English Second Language Teacher for Hello! Exmouth. From 2017 to 2017, they worked as an Academic Manager and Academic Analyst for Education & Travel Group and as an English Second Language Teacher for MOUNTLANDS LANGUAGE SCHOOL LIMITED. In 2016, they volunteered for Restless Development, and in 2014, they volunteered for The Rainbow Room (Exmouth).

Jack Penzer obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Bristol between 2011 and 2014. In 2017, they completed a CELTA from Language Studies International - Brighton. Jack also holds eight edX Verified Certificates in Data Science, obtained between February and April of 2021.
