Joel Bergvall

Joel Bergvall is an accomplished filmmaker and executive with extensive experience in the film and television industry. Currently serving as Head of Film & Television at Down Home since September 2022, Joel plays a key role in the company founded by Tim McGraw. As a Partner and Chief Creative Officer at Shareability since October 2015, Joel has significantly contributed to digital storytelling for major brands like Google and FOX Entertainment. Joel co-founded Picture Lab Entertainment, providing production services to clients such as Electronic Arts and Showtime. A seasoned filmmaker, Joel has produced, written, and directed numerous projects, including the feature film "POSSESSION" and award-winning short film “Victor.” With a foundation in journalism and documentary filmmaking across Europe, Joel has garnered numerous accolades throughout a distinguished career in storytelling. Education includes attendance at Kulturama Film School and Södra Latins Gymnasium in Stockholm, Sweden.
