Carl Black

Carl Black is a Design Director at Sharecare, where expertise has been demonstrated by leading the integration of multiple brands and enhancing marketing efforts, including the transformation of the Sharecare Awards into a nationally recognized event. Previously, Carl served as a Senior Visual Designer at Sharecare, collaborating closely with marketing teams to fulfill client needs and drive projects from conception to completion. Carl's career also includes a role as a Senior Designer at Healthways, where leadership in complex corporate design projects elevated the brand's messaging. Experience as a Project Manager and Intern Architect at Southern Land Company provided insights into commercial architecture, while earlier positions at Callison involved contributions to retail and mixed-use design projects. Carl began an academic path as a Teacher's Assistant in Architectural History at Cal Poly State University, where a Bachelor of Architecture was earned with summa cum laude honors.
