Colin Murphy

Colin Murphy is a seasoned professional in research and consulting, currently serving as the Director of Research and Consulting at Shared-Use Mobility Center since July 2015, after holding the position of Senior Research Analyst. Prior to this role, Colin was self-employed as an Independent Researcher and Communications Consultant from 2010 to 2015 and worked as a Complete Streets Fellow with the National Complete Streets Coalition at Smart Growth America between 2013 and 2014. Earlier experience includes a Transportation & Community Development Internship at the Center for Neighborhood Technology, editorial roles at Glencoe/McGraw-Hill and McDougal Littell/Houghton Mifflin, and freelance writing and editing. Colin holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a Spanish minor from The University of Texas at Austin.
