Åsgeir Helland has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries. Åsgeir is currently the CEO and Co-founder of Sharefox, a platform that helps companies launch, manage, and transform rental-based business models. Prior to Sharefox, Åsgeir was the CEO and Co-founder of Tooler.no, where they built a convenient platform for companies to rent and share resources. Åsgeir also worked at Xyntéo AS as a Project Manager, collaborating with leading companies on low-carbon growth initiatives. Åsgeir has also held roles at Hafslund, Think Global AS, and EMPA Materials Science & Technology, where they gained experience in project development, environmental advising, and research.

Åsgeir Helland completed their primary education from 1999 to 2003 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), earning a Cand.Mag. degree in Informatics, Public Economy, and Industrial Ecology. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) from 2003 to 2004 at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics, Lund University, specializing in Environmental Management & Policy. Lastly, Helland attended ETH Zürich from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a Doctor of Science (Dr. Sc. ETH) degree in Industrial Ecology.
