Khalil MEFTAH

Khalil Meftah has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and research. Khalil currently works as a Machine Learning Engineer at ShareID since November 2022. Previously, Khalil was a DL/ML Research Engineer Intern at DxO Labs from March 2022 to September 2022. Khalil also served as a Junior Machine Learning Freelancer at Fiverr from October 2020 to September 2021. Prior to that, Khalil worked as a Junior Machine Learning Engineer at Netulip from September 2020 to February 2021, where they built an image painting dataset and fine-tuned the StyleGAN2 model using PyTorch. Khalil also performed upscaling using the ESRGAN model. Khalil gained research experience as a Research Engineer Intern at LDCCP Laboratory from February 2020 to August 2020, where they worked on word segmentation, texture-based pre-processing of manuscripts, and developed a hybrid architecture for writer's gender classification. Khalil trained the model using TensorFlow and Keras on English and Arabic data.

Khalil Meftah began their education at Ibn Toumert High School from 2012 to 2015. After completing their high school education, they enrolled in Ecole Préparatoire en Sciences et Techniques d'Alger from 2015 to 2017, where they pursued a preparatory cycle in an unspecified field of study. Khalil then attended Ecole Nationale Polytechnique from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Currently, they are pursuing a Master 2 degree in Advanced Computer Vision and Image Processing (IMA) at Sorbonne Université, starting in 2021 and expected to graduate in 2022.
