J. Mark Mitchell

J. Mark (马克) Mitchell is a General Partner at Weave VC since July 2022, focusing on early-stage venture capital investments in Western Canada. In addition to roles at Weave VC, Mitchell currently serves as an investor and board observer for various companies including Dyne, HomeTeam Live, and Wavy, and leads financing rounds for RetreatsAndVenues.com and ResVR. Mitchell has extensive academic credentials, holding multiple master's degrees in international business and management from renowned institutions such as Ivey Business School, Esade, and Tsinghua University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Alberta and degrees in Chinese Language and Literature.
