Francis C. Flood has extensive experience in the legal and compliance field. Francis C. is currently the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer for Sharestates, a non-bank private lender specializing in real estate loans. Prior to this, they served as the Counsel for Seraphim Equities and its affiliated companies, where they provided legal and compliance support for real estate development and investment projects. Francis C. also held the position of Regulatory and Compliance Counsel for ANS Title, a national title and settlement services provider.

Francis has experience outside of the legal field as well. Francis C. served as the General Counsel for North Pointe Insurance Company, where they oversaw regulatory and corporate legal matters, including negotiating acquisition deals.

Francis C. Flood began their education at St. Bede School, where they studied from 1964 to 1972. After completing their high school education at Brother Rice High School, they attended the University of Michigan from 1976 to 1980. There, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on History. Following their undergraduate studies, Francis went on to pursue a Doctor of Law degree at the University of Michigan Law School, completing the program from 1980 to 1983.
