Sharklife Conservation Group is a South African non-profit dedicated to protecting sharks and marine ecosystems through applied research, education, and public advocacy.

Based in Sodwana Bay, Sharklife works at the intersection of science and societal change — conducting shark and ecosystem research, training the next generation of marine professionals, and challenging the misconceptions that drive indifference toward marine life.

Through collaborative research initiatives, field-based training programmes, and community engagement, Sharklife aims to build a more informed and compassionate relationship between people and the ocean.
