Heather Gardner has a diverse work experience in the field of talent acquisition and recruitment. Heather began their career as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Coca Cola Enterprises in 2004 and worked there until 2008. Heather then moved on to Hamilton Sundstrand as a Human Resources Coordinator in 2008, followed by a role as a Background Screening Manager at Webster Bank from 2009 to 2011.
In 2011, Heather joined TD Bank as a Senior Recruiter, where they worked in various roles and departments over the span of five years. During this time, they were responsible for all stages of the hiring process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending job offers. Heather also played a key role in building diverse and highly qualified candidate pools and collaborating with senior leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies.
After their time at TD Bank, Heather worked as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant at USI Insurance Services in 2016, where they sourced and identified passive candidates for niche positions. Heather then transitioned to the role of a Contract Talent Engagement Partner at eBay, responsible for full life cycle recruiting across different locations and departments.
In 2017, Heather joined Aetna, a CVS Health Company, as a Manager of Talent Acquisition. In this role, they provided consultative talent acquisition guidance, developed hiring strategies, and conducted interviews for designated business units. Heather also oversaw the requisition cycle and implemented new strategies as needed.
From 2021 to 2022, Heather worked as a Senior Business Recruiter at Alto Pharmacy, where they recruited Pharmaceutical Sales Executives and developed talent acquisition strategies. Heather continued their talent acquisition journey as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at Meta in 2022, focusing on recruiting Sales and Marketing Executives.
Heather most recently worked at SharkNinja as a Principal Talent Attraction Partner, Commercial, starting in 2023.
Throughout their career, Heather has demonstrated strong analytical skills, the ability to attract and retain talent, and a creative approach to sourcing and recruiting.
Heather Gardner studied psychology at Manchester Community College until 2011. Heather has also obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in 2021.
