Lee Cottrell

Lee Cottrell is an experienced product design engineer with a strong background in managing the entire design process, from concept to production. Currently serving as Principal II Product Design Engineer at SharkNinja since March 2014, Lee has held multiple roles within the company, advancing from Product Design Engineer to Senior Product Design Engineer. Prior experience includes a position at The Design Unit, where Lee independently managed various commercial design projects across different industries. Lee also contributed to the retail sector as a Product Designer at Segasby Studios, developing Point of Sale products and handling visualization projects under tight deadlines. Early career development took place as a Trainee Product Designer at Sortimo Speedwave GmbH, collaborating closely with the engineering team to generate new concepts. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design (Engineering) from De Montfort University and graduated from Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys.
