Van Benson

Van Benson is an experienced professional in the fields of regulatory affairs and compliance, specializing in FDA and DEA regulations for drugs, medical devices, and drug-device combination products. Currently serving as the Director of Compliance at Sharp Services since June 2024, Van previously held positions at Breckenridge Pharmaceutical, Inc., where management of regulatory activities for drug/device products was key from R&D through post-approval. Experience includes significant roles in regulatory and business compliance at Mitsui International Group, where compliance improvements for medical devices and pharmaceuticals were managed, as well as a strong background in quality management and regulatory affairs at Syntho Pharmaceuticals and other organizations. Van holds a BA in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Purchase and has achieved certifications in Six Sigma and as an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor.
