Chris Root

Chris Root is the CEO of AeroRoot21 LLC, a company specializing in sustainment technology for the Department of Defense, with a focus on leveraging over 33 years of experience from a distinguished career at NAVAIR. Since January 2021, Chris Root has also engaged in various business development roles across several organizations, including SIMBA Chain, Sharp Vision Software, TechLink, ES3, Boston Engineering, RedShred, and nooks. Previous positions at NAVAIR included leading advanced technologies and innovation initiatives, overseeing in-service engineering processes related to aircraft structures, and providing sustainment engineering services for various military aircraft. Chris Root holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from San Diego State University.
